He turns on the Engine, The car starts with a faint 'roar' and moves forward. Its not a Aston Martin or an Alfa Romeo, its a humble Toyota. It was more than humble for him with her sitting beside him, holding his hand with that smile - princess.

Not Today. She's not there. It felt like a humble Toyota.

He accelerates out on the highway, moving along the path with the trees forming a canopy above. A solitary house along the way. The world moves steadily around him. The trees pass away, revealing a vast plain. Golden Land everywhere, blue sky above, the tarmac with white strips creating an illusion that everything's right.

Its not. She's not there. He hoped the road would end.

He sees a lazy airfield with a sign - "Experience the thrill!! Get off the plane the wrong way. Sky Dive Today". He pulls over, with images of his first 'dive' in his mind. The reluctance, the push, the shock, the pain of wind hitting his face, the horror of the free fall, the view, the speed, the pull and the slow float, the feeling that the fall was too short.

He still remembered her panic stricken face while she watched the video. Screaming at his smiling face. Her tears when she saw - 'I LOVE YOU' banner. She cared. She loved.

Not Today. She's not there. He wished it would get over soon.

He gets on the highway. He sees the earthly blue meeting the heavenly blue. The lonely beach. The faint moonlight, Him and her, holding hands walking down the beach her head resting on his arms, her body feeling so warm and her hair smelling like a Sunday morning. The waves washing their feet gently. The warm feeling.

Not Today. She's not there. He wished to waves would pull him.

The lonely street. The empty Bistro. The Corner Cafe. The ice cream shop. The sea-food restro. The drive inn theater. Things he liked to do. places he used to love going with her. He no longer did. He no longer visited. Not today. Not anymore.

She's not there.

Oh, come off it. I know it’s been a long hiatus and it's kinda hilarious!! Romantic lines borrowed from Lobo.
