Fifty...
Time flies, People Come, People Go. Some "Go" in style.
Agassi, Navratilova, Schumi.
After having won almost everything in Tennis - all four Grand Slam singles, Tennis Masters Cup, Davis Cup (Part of the winning team) and an Olympic gold medal, with a total of 61 Singles titles, Agassi finally bid adieu to Tennis in this year's edition of US Open.
Ditto Navratilova, the Grand old Lady of Women's Tennis. With a staggering 167 Singles titles and 177 Doubles titles, she ended her career in style by winning her 59th Grand Slam title as she and Bob Bryan won the mixed doubles title at the US Open.
Schumi, Not my personal Favorite. But like the two above, Schumi has 90 F1 titles to his credit and has broken almost all records there is in F1. With a career like that, you gotta stop and take a bow. Whatever controversies, Whatever his "critics" say, he is a legend and his career ends this season.
Adios guys!!
Well, people move on. And this blog-o-mine completes 50 posts after nearly 1.2years of (near) anonymous blogging.
